FESPA Foundation secures more ‘Back to School’ partners
As an important aside to the business end of FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, the FESPA Foundation officially signed up two new partners at the show, in Apheon and Summa respectively, as joint sponsors of Batau Primary School in South Africa, through the FESPA Foundation’s ‘Adopt A School’ initiative.
Whilst the signing event took place at the Club FESPA lounge, in front of other FESPA Foundation partners – including Arlon, Brother, Canon, Digidelta, Durst, Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems, Mimaki and Roland DG – as well as FESPA Board and members and invited trade media, the real value will be seen thousands of miles south, at a growing number of FESPA Foundation-supported schools in South Africa and Brazil.
First launched in 2025 as a global initiative to drive meaningful support for. and sustainable practices in. schools in underserved communities around the world, the FESPA Foundation is now actively supporting five schools under the strapline ‘Print for Good’, empowering these communities to create a lasting impact through the power of print. The Foundation’s donations, comprising printed materials, equipment and funding, support schools by helping them to improve learning conditions and improve local access to education.
Speaking at the signing, after welcoming Steve Thobela, Africa Co-ordinator at FESPA Foundation; and FESPA President Daniel Sunderland, FESPA CEO, Neil Felton, thanked Apheon and Summa, while also acknowledging all FESPA Foundation sponsors and donors: “It’s incredibly rewarding to see our global community come together to create meaningful impact. By bringing together sustainability, education and community support, we’re helping to transform hundreds of lives and reach those who need it most, while empowering individuals with the skills, resources and opportunities to build brighter, more sustainable futures.”
“Together, with our incredible community of visitors, exhibitors and partners, we’re proving that our industry can be a force for lasting, positive change – well beyond the printed page.”
