Dual-certified Fujifilm Revoria Press PC2120 now available locally
Fujifilm Business Innovation has announced the local launch of its flagship six-colour digital production press, the Revoria Press PC2120, which the company claims represents ‘a major milestone for Australian print service providers seeking greater automation, AI capabilities and confidence in colour-critical production’. The launch is reinforced by the Press achieving two internationally recognised industry certifications: Fogra Validation Printing System (VPS) Certification and PRINTING United Alliance G7® System Certification, validating its colour accuracy, consistency and production reliability.
Steve Fisher, General Manager, Graphic Communications, Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia, says: “Australian print providers are being asked to deliver more colour accuracy, more creativity, and more efficiency, and often with tighter turnaround times and fewer skilled resources. The Revoria Press PC2120 was designed for this reality and its dual certifications give customers confidence, while its automation and expanded colour capability open the door to higher-value work and new revenue opportunities.”
Building on the success of the Revoria Press PC1120, the Revoria Press PC2120 introduces advanced AI-driven automation, an expanded colour gamut through a newly developed green specialty toner, and stable one-pass six-colour printing using CMYK plus two specialty toners.
The broader specialty toner lineup – including green, pink, gold, silver, clear, and white – enables print businesses to deliver more vivid colour, premium finishes and differentiated applications. The dual certifications provide independent assurance that the press meets the demands of professional, colour-critical environments, with the Fogra VPS Certification confirming the system’s ability to produce ISO 12647-8 compliant validation prints with stable, repeatable and colour-accurate output, while the G7® System Certification verifies alignment to the globally recognised G7 calibration method for neutral grey balance and tonal consistency across production workflows.
At the heart of the press is Fujifilm Business Innovation’s proprietary AI technology, which simplifies complex workflows. Features such as Substrate Profiler and Smart Monitoring Gate automatically optimise print settings and detect colour or registration variations in real time, maintaining consistent output without compromising productivity. The press also supports high-speed printing of up to 120 pages per minute, with resolutions up to 2400 dpi.
Yoshitaka Nakamura, Senior General Manager, Graphic Communications, Head of Oceania, says: “At Fujifilm Business Innovation, AI is a core pillar of how we are shaping the future of graphic communications. The Revoria Press PC2120 demonstrates how our investment in AI translates into real value for customers — simplifying production workflows, reducing operator dependency, and delivering consistent, high-quality colour output at scale.
The six-colour flexibility of the Revoria Press PC2120 significantly broadens the printable colour gamut, bringing it closer to RGB-level vibrancy and enabling true to-life colours previously unattainable with standard CMYK printing. When optimised, the press can achieve up to 93% coverage of the Pantone Formula Guide Solid Coated colours, a substantial improvement in printable colour range. Additionally, it simplifies the complex process of colour separation by converting RGB data into six-colour output with just a single click, dramatically reducing prepress time.
