Six months on from taking on full ownership of PacPrint i(previously jointly owned with Visual Media Association), Visual Connections is living up to its commitment ‘to continually develop and evolve PacPrint to optimise exhibitor and visitor opportunity’. As part of a strategic review of its event schedule, Visual Connections has now confirmed that the next PacPrint exhibition will take place in Melbourne from 14th-17th August 2028, moving to a ‘more impactful’ three-year cycle and ‘better aligned with the international industry event calendar

Mitch Mulligan, President of Visual Connections, affirms: “We remain focused on building a more dynamic and valuable event portfolio for the industry. PacPrint 2028 is now locked in to follow the next drupa expo in Düsseldorf in May 2028 and there is plenty for the sector to look forward to prior to that, with a strong pipeline of activity planned between now and 2028.”

The next major event on the calendar is the Visual Impact Conference & Expo 2026, (2nd-4th September, Sydney Showgrounds), which will run as a standalone exhibition for the digital print, sign and graphics sector, alongside conferences and new initiatives designed to keep businesses informed and connected.

Karren Challoner-Miles, CEO of Visual Connections, adds: “Visual Connections has a well-established reputation for delivering high-quality trade shows under both the PacPrint and Visual Impact brands, and we strongly believe that they provide opportunities for business, learnings and inspiration which simply can’t be delivered via other channels.”

“Like many in the industry, we have been watching the evolution of trade shows – locally and globally, and within our own industry and in other sectors – and we remain convinced of their relevance and value going forward.”

“Our updated schedule responds directly to industry feedback and changing market dynamics. PacPrint remains a critical platform for the industry. Moving to a three-year cycle allows us to deliver a larger, more impactful event that better meets the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike.”
