Troy Cavanagh appointed Vice President of FESPA Australia

On the back of its recent AGM, FESPA Australia has formally elected ImageBox Group Sales Manager, Troy Cavanagh, as Vice President, succeeding David Asker, who stepped down from the role earlier this year.

Citing pride in the fact that two FESPA Futures Leaders graduates are now on the FESPA Australia Board (IVE Group’s Bianca Martin is also a Board member), Nigel Davies, President of FESPA Australia, says: ” I am particularly proud that the FESPA Leaders program is achieving its goal of fast-tracking leadership talent to where they can bring a fresh perspective to industry initiatives. Having graduated from the first FESPA Future Leaders cohort in 2022, Troy understands that program from the inside and he has played an integral role in our conferences and events since then too.”

As Vice President, Cavanagh will work alongside Davies and fellow directors on the Board’s strategic priorities, including the membership growth program now underway, the continued development of the FESPA Leaders Program, and FESPA Australia’s representation within the global FESPA network of 37 national associations.

Cavanagh adds: “This is an important time for the association and there is some good work ahead. I look forward to contributing to this, alongside the rest of the Board and our members.”

Previously in the Vice President role, David Asker led the work that transformed SGIAA into FESPA Australia, bringing together the branding, marketing collateral, and digital presence underpinning the FESPA Australia Conference and Future Leaders Program. At the AGM, Nigel Davies and the Board formally thanked him for his service.
