With Spandex Australia officially transitioning across to new ownership under Spicers Australia on April 1st 2026, the leadership team is keen to reinforce  that it will be ‘business as usual for both sets of customers’, with the acquisition being allowed plenty of time to settle and both businesses continuing to operate independently.

Ben Clarke, General Manager, Spandex Australia, says: “The priority remains firmly on customers, with no changes to day-to-day contacts, product portfolio, service, or trading terms. We understand and recognise the importance of continuity in our service model moving forward – with the same team, the same expertise, the same portfolio of market leading products and the same commitment from us they rely on every day.”

Darren Milligan, Executive General Manager, Signet & Visual Communications, adds: “We’re very pleased to welcome the Spandex Australia team to the Spicers Australia family and we are confident that this acquisition will collectively enable us to better serve all customer segments, by leveraging the strengths of both teams and their highly complementary portfolios. Delivering for our customers will remain our top priority.”
