In a move that is intended to free CEO Wayne McIntyre up to ‘pursue more business opportunities’, well-known industry stalwart Phillip Rennell has recently accepted the newly created position of General Manager Sales & Marketing for Celmac.

McIntyre says: “Phil comes to us with wide industry experience across all sectors of print, and his presence will add a key element to Celmac management, helping us with our plans to further consolidate business growth through expanding our specialist hardware and software solutions across more industry segments.”

Rennell’s extensive resume includes a stint with Oce Australia (latterly part of Canon Production Print) before spending 20 years with Currie Group as Sales and Marketing Director, where he was directly responsible for countless HP Indigo installations. After leaving Currie Group, Rennell’s name became synonymous with Kormit Digital in Oceania and Asia, affording him a wide range of experience in industrial range and apparel solutions, including dye sublimation and object printing solutions.

McIntyre adds: “Phil’s wide-reaching experience makes him an excellent fit for the Celmac Sales and Technical team and his appointment is part of a planned re-organisation of our business, which will see Phil assuming day to day management responsibility for Sales and Marketing activity and staff, leaving me more free to pursue other business opportunities.”
