Sawgrass presents M Pigment Ink Technology at ISA
Sawgrass will present their M pigment ink technology for outdoor textile signage applications at the ISA International Sign Expo this week.
Printing M ink with heavyweight polyester, a renewable material, reduces costly vinyl landfill waste. Compared to traditional textile printing, M ink only requires heat fixation to bond with fabric and does away with costly washing and steaming steps.
Sawgrass M Ink creates new possibilities for lasting and flexible signage output. Being more pliable than scrim vinyl, heavyweight polyester signage printed with M ink can be folded, bent and reused without worrying about cracking and creasing.
The pigmented formulation also resists light fading with over three years of outdoor durability and passes industry standards for rub resistance and abrasion.
With its combination of environmentally-friendly components, durability, and exceptionally rich, vibrant colours, Sawgrass M ink on polyester provides sign makers with a commercially viable digital textile printing solution for outdoor banner and sign printing applications.
Sawgrass Industrial will exhibit the M Ink for outdoor signage at the ISA International Sign Expo 2012 at Booth 2164. Attendees can also learn more about Sawgrass Industrial’s additional technologies, including SubliM, SubliM Direct, and SubliM Direct SPS for sublimation printing and M-XTR for extreme speed digital textile print production.
