Going big for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

To be part of the bidding process for the Commonwealth Games, Budget Sign Supplies, based in the Gold Coast, meant producing a 20m x 20m jumbo fabric banner for a local sign company.
The brief was simple, we want it big and need it fast.
Gwen Hailo founder of Budget Sign Supplies rallied their creative design and manufacturing team to produce this 20metre x 20metre jumbo trilobel banner which required 11 panels 20metres x 1.7m in size.
It needed to be reinforced stitched with registration alignment being essential. The edging of the jumbo banner needed to provide handle points for youngers to carry and pull out within a 2 minute time frame.
Gwen admitted the 5 day deadline for completion and the overall size made the job a challenge but one they were keen to take on. Everybody was extremely pleased with the end result.
