Hahnemühle Anniversary Collection coming to Sydney

London, Paris and New York are just a few of the stops for the Hahnemühle Anniversary Collection.

The tour will begin in Sydney on February 10th through to 8th of March 2010 at the Sun Studios, 42 Maddox Street, Alexandria NSW 2015, and will move on to Beijing, Berlin and Hong Kong with a special highlight at Photokina in Cologne, where the Hahnemühle Anniversary Photo Award winning images will be exhibited from September 21st to 26th 2010.

To celebrate its 425th anniversary, Hahnemühle created the Anniversary Photo Award Contest with the motto ‘For Originals.’ Amateurs and professionals were invited to capture their individual, original perspective of people, things and atmospheres. Nearly 1,800 participants from 45 countries sent in more than 7,200 pictures. An international expert jury selected 43 of these works for the Hahnemühle Anniversary Collection.

“The impressive pictures represent a cross section of the subjects of photography,” says Hahnemühle’s Managing Director, Jörg Adomat.

“From portraits and landscape to architecture and still life, we are certain we have a truly special exhibition. For every single subject we selected a FineArt paper particularly suitable regarding its degree of whiteness and structure to optimally support the message of the respective picture.”
