The Jetrix KX5-R will be launched at FESPA this month

The Jetrix KX5 is a standard format 2.5m x 1.3m UV flatbed printer utilising the next generation Konica Minolta 1024 (6 pico litre) print head which offers speeds of up to 30sqm/hr and a maximum print resolution of 1440dpi for photographic quality edge-to-edge printing.

The KX5 comes with a multi-layer print function that enables the user to schedule their print in layers instead of having to do multiple passes and is fitted with a brand new 2.2m wide roll-to-roll system.

The KX5 model has a patented proprietary ink-set that is specially formulated to give strong adhesion to many substrates, such as glass, acrylic and metal, without the need for a primer. InkTec says it is guaranteed not to chip when routed or cut and can also be printed onto softer substrates such as polypropylene, and then folded without cracking.

Jetrix printers are all compatible with industry standard RIP software such as Oynx, Caldera and Shiraz.
