Super “Sonic” cutting from Zund

Zund will be showing the SonicZ, a cutting head which replaces oscillating knives at upcoming Sign & Digital UK show.
The new cutting technology is especially effective when cutting paper based media, said Zund UK sales director Peter Giddings. He went on to say, “Historically oscillating knives slow right down when cutting paper-based boards, using an ultrasonic knife enables cutting at the machine’s rated speed on corrugated sheets.”
The SonicZ head can be retro-fitted to all Zund’s cutting tables.
