Starleaton introduce the new FOGRA-Certified proofing media

Manufactured to the highest possible quality in accordance with Fogra testing procedures, the new media helps to deliver accurate, dependable and colour-fast proofs for offset, screen and flexo printers, advertising agencies, photographers and graphic designers.

Under Starleaton’s own ‘HELIX inkjet media’ brand, HELIX FograCert (#25710) media is initially available in the popular Semi-Matte surface finish in 190gsm, available now, and 245gsm, available from December 1st.

Starleaton Director Gary Smith says; “FograCert proofing media is the sure-fire way to produce accurate and in-specification proofs in an increasingly ISO colour world. With new HELIX FograCert media, we are offering all popular roll widths from 24-inch (610mm) to 42-inch (1067mm), in 30 metre rolls in the Semi-Matte finish. Most importantly, HELIX FograCert is tested for colour fastness in excess of one month. This means that proofs requiring multi-stakeholder approvals over a period of time, can be relied on by the printer for colour, a month or more after they were produced.”

Starleaton’s HELIX FograCert proofing media is free of Optical Brightening Agents that can skew spectrophotometer readings. CIE-L* value for brightness is over 95.
