The Roland AdvancedJET AJ-1000 104 grand-format inkjet printer has won the prestigious European Digital Press Association EDP Award for innovation in the Wide-Format Inkjet Printers up to 2.5m category.
The EDP awards recognise the best and most innovative digital printing products for the previous twelve months based on the following criteria: efficiency, performance, quality/price ratio, design and ease of use. The EDPs judging committee is comprised of independent consultants, editors, engineers and other top industry professionals across Europe. Products launched in the European market from March 2006 through March 2007 are eligible for the award.
It is an honour to receive this award which recognises the outstanding innovation behind the Roland AdvancedJET AJ-1000, said John Wall, Roland DG marketing manager. The AJ-1000 brings tremendous value to digital printing professionals everywhere and particularly to those looking to expand their businesses by offering a wider range of printing services to their clients. At a very competitive price point, the AJ-1000 combines high-speed performance and advanced features that make it ideal for both high-volume production runs and on-demand jobs. The AJ-1000 is also a very easy printer to operate and maintain, allowing shops to easily produce grand-format jobs in-house instead of outsourcing them to competitors.
