New leader for Océ Australia

Simon Wheeler has been appointed Managing Director of Océ-Australia Limited.

He replaces Servio Notermans who has returned to Europe to become Managing Director of Océ in France.

Simon Wheeler joined Océ in the UK 14 years ago and has held a number of senior positions with the British arm of Océ, most notably as Divisional Director, responsible for major corporate and commercial accounts.

A graphic arts professional, he has a wide knowledge of most areas of printing and describes himself as "passionate about the industry”.

Wheeler will be based in Australia at Océ’s head office in Scoresby, Victoria. In the coming years he expects major changes in the profession, which will bring “many opportunities and challenges to digital printing”.

“Océ is at the forefront of the digital printing revolution, and market leader in a increasing number of important areas. I am looking forward to bringing some of our new technologies to the market here in Australia and helping our Australian customers achieve the highest standards of excellence,” he said.
