New boss for local HP’s imaging and printing group

HP has promoted Shane Lucas to the position of Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) vice-president and general manager for South Pacific, with immediate effect.
The former incumbent of this position, Christoph Schell, is now heading up HP’s Asia-Pacific IPG and consumer go-to-market.
Lucas started with HP in 2001 and has filled various roles but most recently, he was director of graphic arts in South Pacific and focused on the vendor’s Indigo commercial printing, Scitex and Designjet large format printing business.
