INX Digital show off new inks at Ad & Sign Show in Shanghai
19 July 2011
The company introduced its Triangle LD ink series at the Ad & Sign Technology Equipment Exhibition in Shanghai.
The inks include STX LD for HP Scitex XL1200, XL1500 and Grandjet printers, and VUV LD for printers using Spectra, Hitachi Koki, Xaar 126 and Seiko 572 14pl print head technology. A true solvent-based ink, among its many benefits is a greater colour gamut and lower cost compared to OEM inks.
In the super wide digital printer segment, the products are recognised as true solvent inks that consistently display a superior colour gamut and great adhesion to all types of media. Both STX and VUV now offer a short term outdoor durability option of one year.
‘I think the new LD series will make an impact with those attending this show,’ said Ken Kisner, President of INX Digital International. ‘The main reason why we developed these inks was to be in a position to match a printer’s needs. Many jobs only require short term durability compared to the two-year durability that’s the norm. Our formulation matches lower durability needs and what customers and the market have been telling us. With the LD series, they won’t have to spend more money on a product they don’t require.’
