The Uvistar UV 3532 rollfed inkjet printer goes on display for the first time in our region
The Uvistar range of UV printers are Fujifilm Sericol’s latest investment and represents one of the most exciting products to come to our shores for quite a while.
Developed in partnership between Fujifilm Sericol and Israel’s Matan Digital Printers, the machine can produce 300 square metres per hour at 600 dpi on a range flexible media.
The printers include 32 print heads with drop sizes starting at 30 picolitres.
The unit is also available in the a 5 metre model with both models having multi roll capability. The larger model being able to accomodate 3 rolls and the smaller model, two roll.
Top resolution is 600 dpi (1200 apparent) using Fujifilm’s Uvijet low odour ink. The ink provides a wide colour gamut whilst also offering low ink consumption.
Matt Ritson, Fujifilm Sericol’s marketing manager confirmed that a 3.5 metre version had been sold to a local organisation with a 5 metre hopefully on the way.
