David Neidell joins Spandex as new VP
We have been waiting for the announcement that Spandex has a new VP following Alex McLelland’s departure earlier this year.
David Neidell is the new incumbent and he holds an impressive CV. He comes to Spandex from Europe, where he was Vice President – International for five years with Arlon Graphics, in Holland. Prior to that, he had a further 13 years’ experience in the US as Vice President – Corporate Development at Fellers, which claims to be the world’s largest wrap supply company distributing a wide range of different vinyls.
Spandex has been a long time distributor of Arlon, so there are deep connections between the two companies.
David told Wide Format Online that he has been extremely impressed with the business that he has come to manage in our region. He feels there is still considerable growth for Spandex to achieve in the coming years, and he is already putting plans into place to achieve that goal.
Spandex is the region’s biggest supplier of media for the signage and wide format printing industry representing Arlon, Avery Dennison and their own brand ImagePerfect. In addition Spandex also distributes a huge range of rigid media from 3A Composites as well as their own brand of Aluminium Composite Material – ImageBond. Spandex is also a major reseller for HP and Mimaki as well as a range of ancillary equipment from the leading brands from around the world.
