Blue Star take over Thompson Print & Displays
Blue Star, one of Australia’s largest printer has invested heavily into the POS world with the acquisition of Thompson Print & Displays.
Blue Star, one of the earliest printers in Sydney with roots back to early 1900s has grown to be one of the most modern printers in the country with a large arsenal of digital printing equipment as well as traditional offset and web presses.
Employing over 1000 staff, the Thompson acquisition brings further power to the company, this time in the sign and display sector.
Matt Aitken, CEO of BLue Star is on record as saying that this could be the first of several investments into the sign and display sector.
Thompson Print & Displays, also based in Sydney will move into Blue Star’s facility at Padstow.
