Awards event ASGA/SGIAA launched
The ASGA / SGIAA 2018 Awards event is ready to go!
This time around the presentation of Awards is being combined across two Associations and the list of categories reflects the closeness of workplace outcomes.
There are some new categories following the input of ASGA members after the 2016 event. There is a total shop fit-out category available as well as a People’s Choice Award. All entries in all categories will be placed on a dedicated Facebook page for a window of one month and judged by the wider community. The winner of this People’s Choice category may not have been selected by the judges as a winner in the other given categories. In all there are 21 categories including the Young Star award for the apprentice of the year. In 2016, there were over 500 entries across all categories.
The Awards will be presented on Thursday night 13th September at the Industry Gala Dinner held during the Sydney Visual Impact Trade Show. The dinner venue is Sydney Olympic Park with pre-dinner drinks being held on the main oval itself. Sponsors will be highlighted on the scoreboard and throughout the dining room. As always it will bring together so many involved in our industry and a fun night is assured for all.
