Agfa stops M-Press development in order to focus on the Jeti range and :Anapurna printers

In a surprise announce last week Agfa told its M-Press customers that it was stopping further development on the M-Press range which it co-developed with screen printing giant Thieme, however it would support its existing M-Press customer base.
Agfa have installed around 40 units worldwide of this top of the range Agfa press, presumably not enough to warrant further funds being channelled

into further product development.
Agfa have built up considerable technology expertise with the various inkjet products that it has developed over the years and the company will now utilise that expertise to develop products with a wider appeal as well as focus on the Jeti and :Anapurna products.
