A new paper/film/paper laminate – a more durable printable paper

Dietzgen has announced the launch of the PaperTyger wide format product line, a paper/film/paper laminate (Tri-Lam) that offers a durable alternative to paper and an economical user friendly alternative to a wide variety of specialty materials.

PaperTyger is manufactured by a patented, unique, solvent-free laminating process to join together the 3 layers. The result is a “print-friendly” paper surface on both sides with a tear resistant core.
PaperTyger is available in 3 thicknesses:
467 – 27#
464 – 40#
470 – 53#
PaperTyger Clear Vu is a distinctive durable paper that combines the style of translucency with the strength and protection of PaperTyger.
Available in 2 thicknesses:
694 – 3.5 mil PaperTyger Clear VU
696 – 6 mil PaperTyger Clear VU
PaperTyger Inkjet is the result of a collaboration between PaperTyger and Mitsubishi Paper Mills (MPM) to develop a durable paper solution that delivers optimised print performance on inkjet printers including aqueous dye and pigment, Memjet, HP PageWide, HP Latex, UVC.
