Sun Innovations in Russia have announced a new ink that would be ideal for those jobs that would require anti bacterial qualities.
Hospitals, bathroom and kitchen tiles and murals in child care centres would be ideal examples.
Sun Innovations say the ink is unique in the and can be used to print on virtually any surface.
The anti bacterial qualities are obtained by the addition of silver nanoparticles. These particles are renown for the anti bacterial qualities. Scientists have proved that ions of silver have the ability to kill more than 650 species of malignant bacteria.
We have been told tht the ink is suitable for most wide format machines.
