Mark Andy launches SmartPress ‘pre-configured press’ program

Mark Andy, supported locally by the recently formed CS Graphics, has launched a SmartPress program, which essentially offers customers a range of pre-configured press systems across the Pro Series, E5 and P7 platforms. Designed to halve press delivery times, from 16 to 8 weeks, the program provides pre-optimised configurations for label, film and shrink sleeve production applications.

Duane Pekar, CEO of Mark Andy, says: “Converters are under growing pressure to improve ROI, and every week of delay impacts time-to-production, productivity and payback. This new SmartPress program enables them to invest with confidence, knowing they’re getting a proven configuration that meets their needs from Day One without guessing, overspending or leaving an ounce of productivity on the table.”

Based on Mark Andy’s accumulated engineering experience, the program organises presses by application rather than individual specification, allowing converters to select a purpose-built starting point and add optional packages. The configurations are designed to support installation, facilitate operator training, reduce waste and deliver reliable output from the outset.

Label, film and shrink configurations are available across the company’s Performance Series and Evolution Series platforms, while a label configuration is also offered on the Pro Series. Optional packages cover hot air drying, UV curing, sheeting and conveying, cold foil, extended-run features and quick-changeover systems.

Lindsey Clark, Marketing Manager at Natural State Label Company, who recently ordered an E-Series press through the program, affirms: “The fast production lead time played a major role in helping us move forward quickly, and the Mark Andy team made the entire process simple from quoting to planning.”

Established after a successful management buyout of core distributor operations from Aldus Graphics late last year, CS Graphics continues to maintain distributor relationships locally with Mark Andy / Rotoflex, GEW, Maxcess, Rhyguan, DYM, Harper, Polywest, JM Heaford, Graymills & Enercon. The CS name was originally taken up due to the company’s continued alignment with Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Success.
