The SGIAA People’s Choice Awards
The SGIAA announced today that voting was open for the inaugural “People’s Choice Awards” held on Facebook.
The People’s choice award will be held in conjunction with the 2011 SGIAA Digital & Screen Print awards. All entries to the Awards have been posted on Facebook and custom software allows visitors to vote on their favourite prints.
SGIAA President, Clem Johnson says “the Facebook hosted award allows staff, clients and family of Awards entrants to participate in the Awards process and support their companies” With the increasing power of social media we welcome the opportunity to promote the work of the SGIAA and our sponsors to a wider audience. We encourage people to visit SGIAA awards on Facebook and ‘like’ our site – to find the site simply type SGIAA in the Facebook search field”
The People Choice Awards close on 28 October – the day before the SGIAA Awards Gala event to be held in the Crystal Palace, Luna Park Sydney on 29 October.
