Durst has been forced to apologise to Agfa for creating the wrong impression.
12 August 2011
In an article entitled “The Cost of Inkjet Printing” in Durst’s July newsletter, the company stated:
“This is why it’s even more surprising that, to gain renown, companies in the inkjet sector think they have to use ruses to get a competitive edge and ably manipulate data on ink consumption conflicting with the laws of physics.”
A graph from Agfa Graphics was used in the article.
The August issue of the same newsletter contained the apology to Agfa Graphics from Durst. Agfa was given considerable coverage explaining the benefits of their M-Press.
