Mexar adds spot colours to its ink range
UK textile ink specialist Mexar Ltd have announced additional spot colours.
In addition to their existing CMYK, lc, lm, lk (and white) inks, the addition spot colours include Blue, Red and Golden Yellow.
Dr. Andy Hancock, director of Mexar Ltd said, “We have found that with the addition of the spot colours, users are able to create a much wider colour gamut with the inkset. The inks have been designed for Epson based printheads for use on a variety of textile platforms. The inks have been designed so that the properties can be tailored to a number of different printhead technologies. We are seeing a shift in technology at the moment with more OEM’s opting for industrial style printheads. With this in mind we can adjust the physical properties required to fit a number of industrial heads for various OEM’s and integrators.
