First annual conference to get under way for the sign and related industries in Australia
The Australian Sign & Graphics Association and The Visual Industries Suppliers Association have announced that they have joined forces to host the first annual National Conference for our Industries.
The first conference will be held at the Grand Mercure, Hunter Valley Gardens Resort in the Hunter Valley NSW on September 3rd and 4th 2009 and coincide with the ASGA/ VISA Golf Day on September 2nd, 2009 also to be held in the Hunter Valley.
Planned topics will include: Effective and efficient marketing; New Opportunities and Advances; LED; Motivation / time management; Self Promotion; Marketing & Sales; Financing & Refinancing; Financial Environment; Colour Management; Change Challenge and coping strategies; Wine Talk.
Workshops are also being planned and currently ideas include: Laminating; LED & Neon; Sharpening Router & Engraving Cutters; Digital Print & Colour Management.
Key Speakers are being approached and include; Michael Pascoe – Popular TV personality and Finance expert; Christopher Whitnall – Talkforce – Change Challenge and coping strategies; Tony Mowbray – The fastest Australian to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. Tony and his crew were also involved in the 1998 Sydney to Hobart fleet, which encountered the worst race conditions on record….. Motivational speaker; Warwick Ryan – Legal Expert; Many of our Industry Leaders.
Estimated costs are expected to be approximately $800 plus accommodation and will include most meals, cocktail party, workshops, and seminars. There will also be other activities planned for your partners if you wish to bring them along.
