New conductive silver nanoparticle ink with low electrical resistance
PCB board printers and mnay other market segments will be pleased to hear that US company Methode Development Company, a business unit of Methode Electronics, Inc., have announced a new conductive ink for inkjet printers called product #9101.
Is is claimed the new formulation is highly conductive when printed at a resolution of 600 dpi.
The ink contains conductive silver nano-particles, and does not require secondary curing or additional processing. Near full conductivity is achieved within a few minutes of printing.
The ink is RoHS-compliant and environmentally safe with almost zero VOC’s created during printing.
A uniform metallic-gold print is created when used with photo gloss paper.
