Australian outdoor industry out performs the US and UK

Australia’s outdoor industry in 2007 recorded a 12.3% increase in revenue on 2006, whilst the US only managed 7% and the UK a 4.6% increase.
The gross revenues from each region gives an idea of the size of the three sectors. Australia’s net outdoor media revenue was A$427.7 million in 2007, whilst the US net revenue has not been provided, the UK’s was a staggering A$2 billion.
The figures above have been supplied by the relevant Outdoor Association industry bodies.
