Graphtec introduce new JS500 series

Graphtec introduced the first in the JS500 solvent printer series at SGIA, the SignJet Pro JS501-18ES.

The printer is a 72 inch model that can print with resolutions of 360 upto 1440 dpi and at speeds ranging from 48 sq ft per hour (highest quality) to 388 sq ft per hour (production quality).

The JS500 series utilises either mild solvent inks or normal solvent inks and printing is done using 12 Xaar print heads.

A drying system is utilised as well a three zone media heating system. An auto tensioning system is also incorporated.
