Epson and Océ-Australia partner to deliver advanced format printing solutions
Epson has signed an agreement to partner with Océ-Australia to deliver market leading plan printing and display graphics printing solutions to the CAD and print-for-pay market segments.
According to Craig Heckenberg, Epsons Business Unit Manager Business Solutions Division, this partnership is a world first, allowing Océ to provide its customers with the opportunity to use Epsons colour imaging technologies.
This partnership will deliver the worlds most advanced large format colour printing solutions for architects, engineers and service bureaux, Mr Heckenberg said.
The agreement includes Epsons products being supported by Océs direct sales team and country dealer network.
Océ is a trusted brand and the leader in providing complete drawing and plan printing solutions for architects, engineers and service bureaux. It has a well established customer base with years of experience servicing the marketplace, and is willing to collaborate with Epson on future projects, Mr Heckenberg said.
Michael Boyle, Business Group Manager – Technical Document Systems for Océ, recognised Epson as being a leading vendor of large format equipment and thus a natural partner for Océ, particularly since Epson aims to deliver the best possible printing outcomes for its customers.
We look forward to a long and profitable association with Craig and Epson, Mr Boyle said.
Océ will be purchasing directly from Epson a range of large format printers including Epsons Stylus Pro 4400, Stylus Pro 4800, Stylus Pro 7400, Stylus Pro 7800, Stylus Pro 9400, Stylus Pro 9800, and their associated consumables, such as Epsons UltraChrome pigment based inks and compatible media.
Océs sales team is fully backed by Epson therefore Océ customers will get the same level of support as Epson customers.
