Brandon Cooper-Barnett wins NZSDA Apprentice of Year award
Brandon Cooper-Barnett from Coastal Signs in Whitianga has been awarded the Apprentice of the Year Award at the NZ Sign Display Awards in Auckland.

“A huge nod and congratulations to our Apprentice of the Year 2023, Brandon Cooper-Barnett – an outstanding young man with huge talent and passion for the industry – and to Darren Hartley of Coastal Signs for his mentorship and guidance throughout his time as an apprentice,” the NZSDA said.
Tana Stewart of Hamilton Stripes and Signs won the Keith Langstone High Flyer award. “This is one of our notable awards and is presented to an outstanding person that shows and demonstrates a commitment to the craft, to learning and always striving to achieve above and beyond expectations – Well Done Tana!”
The Work By An Apprentice awards were presented to Devon Garmonsway (Gold), Hunter Woolley (Silver), and Melissa Huntsman (Bronze).
