Zünd introduce the Cradle Feeder
To be shown for the first time at the Interzum 2017 show in Cologne, Germany is new cradle feeder from Zünd.
The feeder permits tension-free unwinding/rewinding of flexible, stretchy material. Integrated edge control ensures the material is fed reliably and precisely onto the cutting surface. With this technology, even less than perfectly wound rolls can be processed without any problems. Zünd has always put a great deal of emphasis on software solutions that provide maximum efficiency. Zünd’s user interface and workflow suite, Zünd Cut Center ZCC, is compatible with all commonly used RIPs. To make the cutting process as simple and efficient as possible, a camera-based registration system, in combination with ZCC, takes care of matching cut to print. Ensuring accurate registration even with highly stretchy materials, the system can be made to capture parts of the print instead of the traditional marks commonly used in this process.
