Oralite 5921M: First reflective film to be granted approval to the new ECE 104 Class F
12 July 2016
As the first manufacturer of reflective materials, Orafol recently obtained approval to ECE 104 Class F (thereby fulfilling also the reflective requirements in ECE 70 Class 5) for the Oralite 5921M Prismatic Fleet Marking Grade.
Both these European standards have recently undergone major revisions, to form the foundation of a full European harmonisation of this type of regulations.
Previously quite a few national regulations have been in place, and for products already approved to these standards, these approvals will of course still be ok. However, new approvals being issued will be issued towards the new updated European requirements. And Oralite 5921M has come in first!
