ASGA enables accreditation of industry workers
ASGA has developed a Pilot Project for Sydney initially, a process which can be used for current employees to gain accreditation.
ASGA General Manager, Michael Punch said that their research indicates there is a great shortage of accredited staff in industry workplaces and more will be needed so that employers can take on apprentices.
The process is a simple one and is FREE:
STEP 1: Review of the employee’s Sign & Graphics work history by an assessor
STEP 2: Completion of short training program in a subject(s) if required
Those interested in obtaining the accreditation can contact ASGA Head Office to register at [email protected] or 0448 274 211
Enrolment completion date is the 24 December and places are limited — 13 places already taken
Michael Punch has emphasised that this is a Pilot Project and if successful ASGA plans to replicate it in other States once additional funding is secured.
